Cancer Council New South Wales

Cancer Council NSW is an independent community funded, community focused cancer charity dedicated to beating cancer. It focuses on cancer prevention, research into new treatments and cures and providing clinical and emotional support to those affected by cancer. Cancer Council NSW works across all cancers for all people.

Their vision will be realised when lives are not cut short by cancer nor their quality of life diminished. Cancer Council NSW works towards this mission by connecting people and organisations to the cancer cause. It takes a collaborative approach working with external reseachers, other cancer charities and the community, including celebrity ambassadors.

CCN invests about $11 million a year in cancer research projects based in numerous hospitals, research centres and universities.
